Google Is Coming To Malaysia?

Apparently our Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi met with Eric Schimdt(Big boss of Google) in Davos at the World Economic Forum recently and he said that he is very keen to set up an office in Malaysia. How soon? We dont know that. But that would be nice isnt it?
Setting up like huge server farm in Malaysia. All that internet traffic congestion and the hostel like office (yup they sponsor your food and clothing like hostel) of Google would probably be in Malaysia. The question is why? They already had HQ in Australia and recently in Singapore.
Well the Google Inc. had already set up a meetings with the MDEC ( used to be known as MSC) Multimedia Development Corridor not so long ago. Business Times reported on Friday that Google planned to invest in the world’s biggest server farm and was looking to locate it in either Malaysia, India or Vietnam.
A server farm is a cluster of powerful computers that store vast amounts of data. The data is shared between personal computers over a common network such as the Internet.
Abdullah said Malaysians ranked as the top users of Google in Asia, which is another reason why it would make sense to use the country as a base for its operations.
In Asia, Google has offices in China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan.
All I can think right now is, NEW JOB IS ON THE WAY!
