Malaysia International Fireworks Competition Day 1

In conjunction of my birthday on the 18th August 2007, Putrajaya decided to make a firework for me (yeah right). Just kidding guys. As in my older post, a firework competition is being held for few days up till the 2nd of September. I came around 1/2 hour before the event started. It was crowded and I quickly went to find a good place to place my camera and wait. So for people who did not go to see on the opening day, you missed the fun. But dont worry still got few days more. Refer to my older post for the schedule.

  6. very minor adjustment wh photoshop
    would say only 5% touch up – resize and adjust noise
    coz i did try to enhance gile2
    but it seems that natural beauty on this one
    need to be preserve
    so i let it be that way

    please give a buzz here
    i will post on tutorial on how to take them
    since the competition is still on progress

    im not a pro but i have little knowledge that can be share

    I’m Chew from Singapore. I’ve already book my leave so I could come to join these great event. Unfortunaly, I do not drive, esp. malaysia road, for a singapore driver, nightmare. With the jam and all that, without a car, how do you guys think I can see the show and go back to KL city?

    To me, the solution seem to be to just watch the show somewhere near the ERL putrajaya terminal so I could catch the last train back to KL city.

    Any idea?

  12. im not sure chew but i heard that there are buses available from KL to the putrajaya convention centre until late for the event. check out our tourist info center. or cotact mifc.com.my

    BUS SERVICE DURING INTERNATIONAL FIREWORKS COMPETITION

    In conjunction with the Malaysia International Fireworks Competition from 18 August to 2 September 2007, the KL Hop-On Hop-Off bus service will be providing transportation. Tourists in the Kuala Lumpur area can go to the venue of the event, Putrajaya I International Convention Centre, and back via the special shuttle.

    The bus schedule and fares are as follows:

    Schedule:

    Pick-up point

    a.. From Malaysia Tourism Centre, Jalan Ampang, to Putrajaya International Convention Centre – at 7 pm

    Return journey

    a.. From Putrajaya International Convention Centre to hotels around Kuala Lumpur – at end of the show every night

    Note: The bus service, however, will not be operating on Saturday, 1 September 2007.
