My New Gadget: 22″ LCD Widescreen and Motorola A1200

When I was in KL the other day, I bought (I planned it ok) 2 new items for me to bring to Oman. I’m not so much of a shopping person but I am a gadget person. Since few months ago, I have been watching the price for LCD monitor for myself. I checked them through Lowyat website. I know that one day I had to grab one. Why? 2 reasons: as I am into editing photos I realized that I need a bigger working space screen. I used Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom a lot to edit my pictures. and second one probably I watched movies (DVD quality) a lot in this computer. Usually i downloaded the movies from torrent.

So I went to Lowyat Plaza to check out the stuff the other day. After few minutes of walking and asking a good price. I asked whether I am getting 19″ or 20″ for my next lcd monitor. FYi, my current monitor is only 15″ LCD. Yeah old junk! I was aiming for the wide screen LCD actually. Then suddenly I arrived to this one small shop in Lowyat, which does not look really expensive and the shop was not that busy too. I saw some posters saying they had promo on LCD. As usual I use my bargain skill with this chinese. And it worked! Hehe² Suddenly I owned a new 22″ LCD brand ViewSonic and it was black in color. The color was great. And it is huge. When I tested it, I just go “wow”. Got to have this thing.

Another gadget that I bought was a handphone. It is a Motorola. Ok this is my first time switching to that brand. I dont really fancy Motorola phones. Coz their battery is really lousy, but better than Nokia. Sorry. Anyway as I used this Sony Errickson almost 2 years, I figured that maybe its time to do some “wind of change”. So made a few research few days earlier. Then I found out that there is this one model of Motorola that I really like. It doesnt look like the common Motorola V series, and it doesnt look like the simple boring Motorola design. Well, not long after I decide that I want that model, happen to be my luck that there is this one shop in Sg. Wang gave me a very interesting price for it (well I asked already many shops on the price) plus they gave me 1GB micro SD card with it. So I bought the Motorola A1200. Well I know its like PDA, but it used Symbian OS based on Linux – so it load pretty fast instead of Windows Mobile. Battery wise, cant challenge any Sony Ericsson phone. Even my old one perform better.
