Got My First Nikkor Lens

Im new into all the DSLR camera. But i know that when u play with dslr you got to learn new things to appreciate it more. So you have accessories like remote, flashlights and off course lens. In Oman there are no store selling Nikon or Nikon products. Yeah there is but no dslr stuff. So it was in Malaysia that i managed to get the lens. It was an old lens AF but it doesnt work with my AF D40 Nikon. Lens that work must be under specification of AF-S or AF-I.

But its ok, it helps me out to finally get independent and use manual focus. And after few hours of experimenting, manual focus is not so bad to learn. well u do get a little blur or should i say out of focus when u try to zoom long. Sowith this very long zoom 300mm, yeah you can see things so far away yet so close to your eyes. Satisfaction yeah. you can play a lot with zoom. But staying close to object with this lens is a bit of problem. the widest angle is at focul length of 70mm. Meaning that you have to stay at least around 1.5m from the closest object.
